This 6-day road trip takes you from Marrakech to the majestic dunes of Chegaga, crossing oases, historic kasbahs, Berber villages, and the lunar landscapes of southern Morocco. • Early departure at 8:30 AM from your hotel or riad in Marrakech, heading towards the south of Morocco via the spectacular High Atlas Mountains road.
• Crossing the legendary Tizi-n-Tichka Pass, the highest in the country (2260 m), offering breathtaking views of the Atlas peaks.
• Stop at the Telouet Kasbah, former residence of the legendary Pasha Glaoui, still showcasing carved ceilings and beautiful multicolored zellige tiles.
• Continue through the stunning Ounila Valley, a hidden gem with ochre canyons and Berber villages clinging to the mountainside.
• Explore the magnificent ksar of Aït Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site famous for its earthen architecture and international film shoots.
• Lunch at a local restaurant, with a view of the ksar or near the city of Ouarzazate.
• Discover Ouarzazate, Morocco’s cinematic capital, also known as "the Hollywood of Morocco", with its famous studios and kasbahs.
• Arrival in Agdz at the end of the day, a small town on the edge of the Moroccan desert, nestled in a lush oasis and the majestic palm groves of the Drâa Valley.
